And I’m a little hungry now…damn it. Where’s my cell phone!!????
BTW, I just found you (your comment that is) above my comment on the fancy fish’nflush potty place. http://www.thetaoofmakingmoney.com/2006/12/30/166.html You commented there in Nov, 07. I guess it doesn’t get a lot of traffic, but then only brilliant people found it, read the hilarious post on the toilet topic, and voila! An instant virtual community of people with common sense, not enough quid to buy that flippin’ Flipper flusher. Just think how much pizza and beer 299.00 could buy! Holy Crap!
I mean Holy Carp!! DOH!
Dear Bill:
Just wondering why there is no political commentary?
I know there has been a lot of exciting action lately.
Your fans, friends, readers and dare I say probably the entire Democratic Party Members are closely monitoring your site for direction in who should really be the correct candidate in the coming vote tally?
As alas there is no commentary I would like to relate a true store of our government in action.
Andrew Cash goes to the post office to purchase a “few stamps.” He finds the machine will no longer issue if you use cash, but he must purchase them with a debit or credit card which he has neither so he leaves stampless.
I attempt to purchase stamps via internet for three days in a row, and each time I am told the stamp via internet is out of order.
Dave Scott then goes to the post office, waits in line and attempts to buy stamps with my American Express card. He is refused as he is not me. He then presents his American Express card where he is refused as his card is not signed. He tries to sign the card with three different pens; none of them will work on the back of his card. Another postal representative directs him to the machine where Andrew could not purchase stamps with cash, as the representative points out, “the machine doesn’t care whether the card is signed or not.”
Dave presents his card selects postage of $41.00 and the machine issues a single stamp for $41.00.
Dave then leaves the post office and I entrust the single $41.00 stamp to John Cash.
He waits in line and exchanges the single stamp for a book of stamps.
It took four people to purchase one book of stamps. Is it any wonder people go postal?
I thought you might find this interesting as you had postal problems with defacing and taping stamps.
